Another Tire Question

Hi everyone.

I haven't seen this question asked yet. I'm needing to put a pair of tires on the front of my Deuce, and was wondering if I got radials, would they somehow react poorly with the NDTs on the back. The front tires look okay, but give me a death wobble above 30mph.

Question B, if I swapped the front tires for two of the back tires would the death wobble happen on the back and give me a tail wagging the dog effect?

Thanks everyone.

Ah, so I can't get a radial tire in a size equivalent to 900x20. I hadn't considered that. I don't have any interest in converting the whole truck to a different size so NDTs it is. Thanks.

..
I did a cursory look under the front end and didn't see anything askew. That must be my basis for thinking it's the tires.

Oh it can be the tires. A belt may have separated, and the tire could have a huge lump. Jack up each end and spin the tire, feel for lumps, next pull up and down and sideways on the wheel to check for loose knuckle bearings.

Might be time for a closer look at the front end. King pin bushings, steering arm slop (old school adjustable) and also alignment out of whack. A wobble definitely is not normal.
