As the title says, I'm thinking about a auxiliary transmission for my deuce.
I started a while back swapping the engine and transmission to a Cummins 12valve and a Allison md3060 automatic. (previously had a mt643 that got destroyed when I dropped it)
I singled our the rear axle, got 395 tires, disc brakes, power steering, swapped 4 cranes,( have a 8005h autocrane now) and a dump bed.
Downside since I've taken so long working on it I can't find the box with the shift controller for the md3060, I've been looking for months at this point I can't even guess where is went.( don't even have that much stuff and it wasn't a small box)
Buying a new controller is insane price wise($2k), let alone the wiring harness, TPS, and getting it programmed, maybe some day I'll find that box. (would love that 0.65 OD)
I thought about getting all the linkages and going back to a manual but I'm this far in....
So I'm thinking about a simpler transmission again another MT643, downside with that its 1:1 first gear
I have a few choices I get could get two sets of 4.90 gears which are not cheap $2900 for the both.
Or I find a auxiliary transmission like the Spicer 8031c with a 0.75 OD
or a Eaton 3-A-92
found the eaton transmission catalog again! I'll attach it instead of a link which they'll change in a week again.
Now I'm debating which auxiliary I would actually need to deal with the torque of the 12 valve with 215hp and 420ftlbs
Let alone where to find one that's not in Oregon or out west (I'm in pittsburgh) or will actually ship instead of saying they'll get me a quote for 3 months (actually 4 months now)
Any thoughts?

Decision on a knuckle boom crane.
Well, to preface I have a 1969 M35a2c with a D turbo, air shift, hardtop ect. I'm going to convert is to a long bed 4x4, pulling the mid axle, deuce front springs with air bags. Currently its sits on power king 9-20's tires. But I have a set of MVT 395s on M35a3 wheels just waiting for me to...
