Now that I am further along in my M1031 project, I want to find a replacement for the bracket for the mil speaker bracket that the PO (fire dept. ) cut out. I want to mount an LS-671 speaker and wire it into a CB. Does any one know of a source for this item?

Post your needs in the parts wanted forum.
You will most likely never find that part by itself and you will need to see if anyone is scraping another M1031 or M1009.

Since that bracket is spot welded on, removing it without destroying it will be a challenge.
