That's a great idea! I'm considering Detroit lockers for the rear axles on my M1088, but would LOVE an air operated locker for the front axle! Or air operated for all three axles!

If you want locker they are available. Selectable would be expensive.

I found only the classical detroit locker, but not the selectables. Do you know where they are availlable?

We have tested the 2.0 and the results are very good. No wear in almost 1000 miles of 2:1 and direct drive mix.
I am currently working to get material pricing and machine shop quotes to produce. This has been a crazy expensive,
long project. I hope we can produce these quickly and at an affordable price.

Out of curiosity are you using the original 2:1 gears or is it completely different?

Hi Kieth, we are using all original gears in the 2:1 reduction. We actually remove the outer gear (that’s on the axle) and use a second inner gear to take its place. Pretty cool, this saves a lot of money and engineering.

I still love my eco hubs 1.0 but I've been really stressing out this past month after the gut-wrenching realization i straight up cannot climb, even just getting out of my own ruts since the conversion. If i allow the truck to come to a stop on even a 3% grade that's effectively where my house sits until it's safe enough to pack down the road in reverse.

I'd be interested but it totally depends on what price he comes up with when it's announced.

If i were him i'd actually be considering some form of "Trade-in value" because then he'd get to resell 1.0s he's already sold once, obviously providing they were in excellent condition etc. However if he doesn't i imagine it'll be because i've noticed "almost nobody but me actually primed and painted theirs correctly and they're covered in rust" lol.

No not even close, I'm sure. 1.5" total Plywood floor (to accommodate 0.75" base layer then 0.75 to integrate PEX in-floor heating " and under the ceiling panels sure but composite wall panels etc. In-fact I emailed the company earlier tonight that welded-up the Steel skeleton (I can weld, but i entrusted the joining of the habitat to the frame to engineers and not myself) to verify I'm sufficiently below max weight by any measure of the term.

After removing the stock m1078 steel and aluminum bed entirely and installing the habitat, even with a steel skeleton, I'm sure I'm below weight requirements. I have emails out from the fabricators about the "actual weight of the habitat" but cmon guys... Didn't I lose 2.1Klbs just deleting the stock bed and etc?

Wow. I did watch your video in the other thread, have you done any further diagnostic work? Perhaps swap the planetary hubs back in? Your situation seems to be excessive, even when accounting for the loss of torque.

I hope you find something (not expensive or catastrophic) that gets you fixed up, that would stress me out for sure.

I’ve got people over 40,000 lbs off road and doing well. Have you tried mode 1st? seems strange you are so low on power.
I won’t be offering a trade in on eco hubs. To much freight involved and to many variables. They should be easy to sell in a secondary market.
