Haldex wiring

Hi all,

I have a 923A2 that I am going through. Overall stock configuration. The master battery switch was swaped out before I bought it.

Question is there is a cluster of wires under the dash. One wire which is red and has a 30amp fuse in line. I traced the wire through the fire wall down to the Haldex valve above and between the two rear axles.

1. Does anyone know what the red wire does?
2. When I turn the battery switch on it blows the 30amp fuse.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

All the wires in your photo are for the ABS system. The red wire should have a 15amp fuse and the yellow wire should have a 3amp fuse. Sounds like your ECU is bad for the ABS system, That is what is in your 2nd photo back over the rear axles.

the ABS light is on so that would make sense. Do you think switching out the ECU for the ABS will be the fix? Thanks for your expertise on this!

Would I need to replace multiple or just that one that the red wire leads to?
Thanks

There is a plug on the passenger side dash to connect the haldex abs info center sn 5000 diagnostic reader to pull codes.
Some on ebay around $150

Might save you time and $ not changing parts that are good.

Juan, is there a name for that diagnosis reader? Is that plug behind the dash to plug into?
Thanks!
