@BLK HMMWV , My friend, I will admit that I know nothing about these things and their operation.

The check valves were supposedly removed today, however, I had fuel flow to the filter via pressurized non vehicle fuel tank, filter was bled and full.

Return from the pump disconnected, very little flow from return.

The rear 2 on each bank injector lines backed off, no juice out of them.

There is battery voltage at the FSOV wire at the pump.

I do have the tamper proof TORX bits, I am thinking about pulling the top cover on the pump to see if the shut off rod is stuck.

I will be at the compound 1 or 2 days next week, I would LOVE to have your help, but I know you are swamped.

Who knows what the kid did. The stuff in the tank looks horrible! Looks like a mixture of water and veg oil, very yellow and cloudy. Inside the filter though, looks like new, no goo, discoloration or funky smell. Nothing like what is in the tank.

I am kinda lost, it SHOULD be just a regular 6.5, just like yours, and SHOULD lite off with go juice, but there is zero delivery from the IP, no return makes me think lift pump, but it won't lite with a pressurized remote tank. Hell, I have made V12 K models run with PSI in a remote tank, but this shitbox will not even smoke.

I get that the GP system is needed for these to run, but, I once started one, on the ground, with no GP circuit installed.

I'm lost, but I have an idear or two to try.

Doesn't want to try to lite with help either.

I love you man!

If the fuel was in bad condition but the fuel filter was pristine I would suspect someone had changed the filter trying to get it to run.

IF you know you have pressurized fuel (10-15 psi) going to the IP and very little fuel out of the return fitting, first remove the fuel return fitting and make sure it is not plugged, there is a check valve in that fitting that maintains 2-3 psi in the IP housing before returning it to the tank,

Be very careful pressurizing the fuel tank as you can cause problems like blowing off the vent line, by now I would have set up a small tank with an electric fuel pump feeding the IP through an inline filter, that way you temporarily bypass any issues withe the fuel system.

Of course you MUST have two tested and fully charged batteries or you are just pissing in the wind

Have you pulled the IP cover and inspected the inside of the IP housing?, if not that would be my next move, it takes a 5 point security torx drive bit to get those screws out, you must be real careful re-assembling it to get the linkage correctly aligned.

If all that looks OK there is a slight possibility that the input screen on the IP is clogged, that is a REAL PITA to get to

I know you will figure it out.
I agree with Mogman.
The filter probably was recently changed before you got to it that's why it didn't look bad. I have an extra IP it hasn't been rebuilt but was removed from a running 6.5 . Your welcome to try it but it's been sitting on a shelf for several years.

The tank isn't what is being pressurized, a separate off vehicle tank is being used. It is still going through the factory lines that I pressurized and had flow to the filter.

There had been zero filter work done, no clamps in different spots, they were all oriented in a position that made it near impossible to get at even using a 1/4 drive socket, the clamp drives were facing up toward the firewall. No evidence of the clamp on the filter housing being oriented in a different position, no evidence of fuel spillage onto the chassis.

I am gonna see if there is fuel pump flow to the filter, I have not looked at the soft line from chassis to lift pump, I know they can kink.

If flow and no kinks, my next step will be to remove the top cover and see if the FSOV lever is stuck, it is a normal DB2 pump, had covers off before and I do have the security TORX bits, Cummins started using them way back on the last of the PT pumps.

If it needs a pump, glow plugs, I am not the one to do that, I cannot physically do it without my body rebelling. Sucks, I used to be able to do way more than I do now.

Yesterday, I did a hub bearing on my truck. My neck got so bad I sounded like a cartoon character! That was only 4 bolts at 133 ft lb, 2 at 80, 4 at 177 and 8 at 140, off and on and it took me the better part of 2 hours to do it. DON'T have neck surgery!

Well, here is what I know about the "mechanic".

Supposedly, the PO, who knows nothing except real estate, took this to his "Lamborghini Mechanic" for a "tune up". Supposedly it had a new radiator put in it.

When the guy told me that, I told hem that these don't really need tune ups, just PM stuff. This was before the pig died. He said his "mechanic" put an air filter in it, changed the oil and filter, trans service wiper blades, glow plugs and I think I understood "clean the injectors". The air filter is not new, the GP's havent been touched, still have paint on them, oil filter is not new, injectors weren't touched before I got to the lines, basically anything he was told was done, wasn't. $1500.00! After that, his kid was driving it and the radiator "got a leak" so the radiator was replaced. Again, nope! All of the clamps have never been off, none of the fasteners that are painted and need to come off have had a wrench on them, not a new, rebuilt, repaired radiator in it. It does however, have a pretty good coolant leak at the fill line hose at the lower radiator pipe, it is cracked all the way around and leaking, marking it's territory in the shop. There was no coolant in the reservoir when I went to look at it

All of this is before the truck was driven down the giant azz hill from the PO's house, to the fuel station where his kid fueled it. His kid put go juice in it, started to head home and, from what I was told, drove fine for 1/2 mile then acted like it "ran out of gas" and wouldn't re start. It was towed back up the hill to the spot where it was resting for 2 years.

He did have some "mechanic" , not the Lambo guy, come up and try to get it running, but the batteries were junk. New batteries bought and installed, but 2, 12vdc batteries in parallel don't equal 24 volts, so the guy gave up.

Sorry to hear about your neck . You know I like to give you a bad time whenever I can. Kind of like Grumpy Old Men.
Glad you finally told the story about the Lamborghini mechanic. Not that it matters much but if nothing else it gives you an out with your fan club here on SS.
I mean if a Lamborghini mechanic couldn't fix it -------.
Let me get through next week. If you have still not gotten it to send up a smoke signal I can come help with the exorcism. As long as I can still be on my phone.
We can swap out the IP.
