Scanned and uploaded here are instructions to install kit 57K4925 which is a conversion kit to adapt an M1165 hard top HMMWV to be able to mount a vinyl cargo cover over the bed area. I was given this with some random hardware I bought in a bulk purchase. Had only heard rumors of this before, so this may be a rare reference. Searching this site and Google for the nunmbers shown in the thread title turned up nothing. Sharing it here for awareness/info.
Someone will ask if I have the full conversion kits, and NO I don't, so please don't ask further. The hardware I have is fairly general and could be obtained from many sources. What I'd call the custom pieces, particularly the Velcro adapters, are missing.
