I run Detroit Automotive KS-22s in my M37 and 1962 W200 Crew Cab, but they are no longer available, and I am dithering about what to install in my XM708.

What do you guys recommend, and why?

I had the ARB air locker (from VPW) installed in the rear differential of my M37. Very happy with it. I use my truck working in the woods from time to time and it has really come in handy. I went with this because I wanted control of when the diff was locked or not. (I’ve never driven wirh a KS-22 locker. I’ve heard they are great off-road, but can be a bit squirrelly on road in slippery conditions especially on vehicles with an offset differential.)

Tim Holloway of Distinctive Restoration just a few miles down the road from me here in VT did the work.

I never noticed a problem with my two, but I'm not very picky... 😉
I've never driven a K-22, though.
