Hi everyone I’ve been trying to eliminate one light on my dash. ABS. Tested wiring with a headlight load, tested the valve. ohms good.
cycled the valve with 12 volts. With the VADS I can cycle all the valves accept the left front. The code is for an open on the left front. Looks like I need a module. Anyone have one they removed. This is a 4x4 m1078. 2004 Also open to any input as far as diagnostics. Thanks. Mike.
update. Got It fixed! Was the connector at the LF abs valve. Had to make them tighter, the ID of the female was too large.
It also looks like you need to clear the code to resend the test cycle in the VADS.

Vehicle Automated Diagnostics System. It’s designed to interface with many military vehicles and equipment.
The limiting factor is the software. The hard drives are removed by the government. There are a few guys that have
acquired the software and will sell your choice of software/vehicle Kit. Its very over built and comes with many adapters
etc. pm me and I could tell you more if you like. A popular auction site has a few usually.

Thanks I have that software and the computer, I didn’t know you could look at the abs system with it. My problem is catching it while it’s on. Unless it stores the ABS data log.

Kieth I just had another ads code come up on my rig. It was wheel speed sensor dropping out. There is a push together connector
tie wrapped to the air lines on the rear of the truck. Mine was corroded and the pins were a little loose. Good to go now!

They are also sensitive to getting dirty. I have had an ABS code show up from time to time and cleaning the wheel sensors has been the cure.
