M1009 Speedometer Cable Replacement?

Have yall considered removing the reduction box altogether and changing the Driven Gear to correct the speedometer reading? I offered to calculate which Driven Gear to use in Post #34.

I definitely will - right now the seats are out as I'm working on some rust restoration. The speedometer was a side project giving my back a break from bending over sanding.
