Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

Thank you. They are extremely odd and have their fare share of quirks I’m finding out. Hopefully I’ll get it ironed out soon before the TX Rally.Outstanding, those are so cool!
I have the gasoline versions, but haven't managed to glom onto a diesel.
Cheers

I've had an M1030M1 for quite a few years now. It runs great. What kind of quirks are you seeing? Make sure you never never never try to start it by depressing the compression relief, letting the engine spin and then releasing the compression release. Always start it by heating the glow plug until the light goes out and then press the starter button.Thank you. They are extremely odd and have their fare share of quirks I’m finding out. Good talking to you on the phone today. I forgot to mention one other thing to check. Check that the glow plug is functioning. It could either be burned out or the circuit open. However, as I mentioned on the phone, I believe your Odyssey PC625 battery needs replacing.Thank you for all the information. The previous owner instructed me incorrectly and told me you “must” use the decompression lever. After speaking with Mr. Rick Green who also worked at HDT I now know the correct way. Current issues are hard to start and sometimes it’s trying to start in reverse. Rick said for me to check timing, buy a new battery, and check for wiring/ground issues. So far I figured out my timing is one tooth off so I have to figure out how to set it.
