OK have a question. What are the brackets on the side of the box for there is 2 sets per side. Unable to find any reference in the TMs

Have pictures? If they're on the outside, I'm guessing they're stake pockets for fitting a canvas top over the back to make it look like an M35.

The brackets on the side of the box. Worked around a bunch of them in the Army and never seen any of them with brackets or canvas.

the ones on the corners or for lifting the box. the ones in the center I think I seen they were for light mounts or for canvas cover for like a side tent.

Well like I said I have worked with these truck for a while and never seen canvas or lights. Nothing in reference in any TM. Special weapons in ARTY to Maintenace Bn from 1987 to when they started being phased out in the 90s

I think it was in the older TM's for the gasser's I will try to look this weekend.
