Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

I figured something was different when i saw a hydraulic resivoir on the starboard side in back. So the input has an adapter for the hydrastic motor. Can a drive shaft be used instead.the winches are the same
but driven by hydraulic motor instead of drive shaft

Roger.
Nope. If you have a hydraulic powered winch - no - you can't power it with a driveshaft. Unless you can find the part that bolts in place on the winch itself...
