Yes since december being fixing stuff the gate lock is going to be a fun but i think i have a plan or spend $500 and get the best air cylender with spring assist or use a parking brake chamber wirh Zbar to change the way it works, even the acction levers where you put the rod to the gate locks are not welded in same location there is 1" diffrents in rod lengths thank God i made them with double adjustment, today iam working on the tarp and some wiring we move foward.

Got the gate cylinder yesterday is work of art, will try to install it this weekend , i took today of from work did some electrical hook up as well cut some of the metal in the back that was part of the slam back for the asphalt machine but the bed was about a foot to short so the builder welded a asphalt kind of a ramp which is standar not sure the name in english but left all the slam back metal in place so i cut of for a clean look and so i can weld suppost for the mud flaps.
Be back at it Sunday after Church tomorrow fun with the kids and monday off so will hit it again..
