I've converted over a dozen 004/005 through the years to single phase and know the process well.

This is the first time I've converted a 006, and only the third 006 I've had in my possession.

The wire numbers on the back of the connection board are different.

On a 004/005, you move
X8HH16B from T8 to T11
X8A16B from T8 to T3
X12EG16N from T12 to T11

On the 006, moving X12EG16N from T12 to T11 is not an issue because the wire number matches.
T8 has only one wire beside the main on it, X8E16B.
T3 already has wire X16H16

The -34 manuals for the 004/005/006 show at T8 [MEP-006] X8E16B and [MEP-005] X8A16B on the same P10-F circuit so I *think* on the 006 conversion I should move X8E16B from T8 to T3.

The -34 manuals for the 004/005/006 show at T3 [MEP-006] X16H16 and [MEP-005] X16H16 on the same P10-L circuit so I'm not moving that wire.

I do not see X8HH16B on the wiring schematics in the -34TM for 004/005, I'm sure it's somewhere in the TM but I'm spacing out on it.

So at this point I have 2 questions; Do I move X8E16B from T8 to T3? Are there any other wires that need to be moved?

I have attached the connection board diagrams to this post.

What really needs to be done is to look at what is being moved on the 04 or 05 what that wire goes to and try to determine why it was moved. Then we have to find that same component on the 06 and make the same move

Great Info. I'll also look. Some members own the TQG gens which are not a 12 lead machine and they did a Neutral bundle making it difficult to do the same as you. This is the 804, 805, and 806 models. I had to do a 007 once but usually we tried to keep them running in the active force. The attempt on a 009 did not work for other reasons. MEP built 77,000 gens for requirements and we numbered 57. We each had a number of items to look at one may say. Would you mind if I look over your stuff, and if possible make up something. I think you can email me using @LuckeyD . Or try the email button at the top and use it. Other members may require your information. If you do not want this just say so.

"I do not see X8HH16B on the wiring schematics in the -34TM for 004/005, I'm sure it's somewhere in the TM but I'm spacing out on it." X8HH on the 004 goes to the exciter. On the 006 T9 which is wire x9j goes to the exciter.
"The -34 manuals for the 004/005/006 show at T8 [MEP-006] X8E16B and [MEP-005] X8A16B on the same P10-F circuit so I *think* on the 006 conversion I should move X8E16B from T8 to T3." I dont think this is going to matter if you move it or not. Both x8 wires on T8 only go to the governor control. That would be on a precise unit with an Electronic governor.
