Just be sure the end of the diode with the white stripe on it is attached to terminal 1 of the switch.

Bringing this thread back because I'm looking for a switch. What can I do for the diode and knob if mine is totally gone?

You might try opening a "Parts Wanted".

Look at the -24P TM and find the part number for the diode. They are easy to find in the internet. Mouser sells them.

Might help to show us what type switch you have. Then you can maybe find a knob.

It's a common diode. P/N 1N5406

You can get the knob and screw that holds it from Electroswitch the manufacturer.

Light in the dark looks like he is very familiar on how the ordering works. Maybe he will chime in. I emailed the sales guy back on bulk order, but I got a weird response stating" No we just go by what is charged for freight".. not clear on that answer.

Don’t want to step on anyone’s toes if you have a bulk buy going on, but I do have several S1 & S6 switches available in the parts wanted. Already sold one Electroswitch S1 to a member here and have another as well as 4 S6’s, just an FYI.

I dont think there will be enough interest to support a group buy at this time. I'm needing 35-50 units to be finding homes to make any of the math work.
