Great Stuff! Good going. Good for you. I am really happy you have found a way. 2 thumbs way way up. Looking at your pictures......L1 L3 240 and Either to N 120.
Now what will you do with the empty phase L2, not connected causing an out of balance for your generator running at 75% load for a while? Or is it empty and you run part of a phase on the others taking an electrical machine rated at over 90% efficiency and adjusting it to only 75% at best, and what is the rating output of your 30,000 watt main gen? Just asking.
I did a delta out of a 100KW 007B 20 years ago by redoing the Neutral bundle inside the main gen and adjusting the sensing with heavier output leads omitting the reconnect board. This in a daily mortar attack. We could rate it at about 90-95KW for a warlord with similar readings from all components on temp, currents and winding swell. The magnetic fields were a bit off in degrees, but it did not over heat and It ran for 8 months before their rival blew it up and they ran it at about a 45-50 KW Load converting from KVA back to KW. The small ville it ran was happy campers. I'm interested in the only TB1 reconnection to do all this while keeping the main gen in balance without causing an issue of bearing problems and shaft warp over time. This main gen has no front bearing so if out of round it will also work on the engine rear seal.
This would assist many members who have issues with making it work to keep an electrician happy connecting it to a home instead of doing a 3 phase entrance and strapping on motors and electric ranges. In Afghanistan, the installation just ran 2 phases out and in a room we had in an outlet 2 phases and a ground. Iraq was different. We had lights and an ECU so we were happy. Created issues in the showers though.
