Quick and stupid general electrical question

I've got a 20kW genset that's putting out ~85volts instead of the 120v.

In an emergency, can I run this through a PD box and use it for electrical heating?

I would worry about a blower fan in the heater running slow. Not to mention the strain on other components.

Thanks. This confirms my understanding.

No blower motors or anything else that i understand to be voltage sensitive. Just heat generation using radiant heaters.

Given that it isn't currently making correct voltage, how concerned should I be?

Forecasted temps around zero. A greenhouse worth of decorative plants. My concern is possible loss of grid power. Potential problems, no actual problems. Yet.

Where are you taking the voltage readings? At the load terminals? Or at the heater? Or at the volt meter?
