But dont let hand stay unmovable too long. Otherwise you cant raise it high or move as far as before.
My hand raises about 3/4 now.
Thats correct. Unfortunately about the bonecondition i must wear 14 days the railcast 24/7. Planned was 3 days. Than i got an orthese which allow movement without load and physio. Night and hard work needed still the railcast to prevent accidently harm.

I know from restrictionpreventing where i broke my hand. I gain all back with the right management during a year. But it was not a big issue, just break one middlehandbone, no joint.
Now a joint is involved and it need a lot of care. Possibility not to reach full activity is always there.

Couldn`t resist was yesterday at the shop, of course not alone. I am never alone working on the truck as i am not a mechanic, i need supervision on that things. I am used to work on my motorbike and the cars since around 4o years, but always with supervision. Better for me and my money 😇 :ROFLMAO: .
Happiness give small things :) I was able to get a lot of work done by myself. There was enough space to reach under the dashboard, as far as my restrictions allowed.

So what work well was the compressor wiring, Picked up 24 V on the distribution

20260131_135920.jpg

the ARB compressor comes with a plug and play harness and it was finally easy to install.
It have in the wiring an own fuse with 4o A

20260131_135948.jpg

just needed to bring in the wiring for the switch and connecting the switch on terminal 15 (ignition power).
We don`t want that the compressor got always power.

its louder than expected but not annoying.
So we have now two Switches in similar design.
Red for the blacklight
Blue for the compressor

After connecting the plug on the Blacklight Switch (in this picture blacklights are bridged for dont have trouble on roadregistration if they dont accept the red safety switch on it) was the blacklights checked:

Rear

Front

but the front marking blacklights dont work.

We need to check the connection. For roadregistration we was forced to remove the parking light in the turnsignal lamp. It was 25 years accepted but this officer last autumn had another opinion on it and have "the force with him" to change it.
However we wanted already plug it in again but missed it until today. Also to have fully access it is to remove a lot of things again ....
Now we have 2 reasons to attach it again.

So now i will dig again in that tach issue to solve it finally. i hate nonfunctional things ....

Figured out the blacklights had no ground after open and reconnect all as only one bold from the lamp provide the ground 🤐

20260207_105830.jpg

however passenger side is working.
Driver side dont come up again also not without any further connection and directly given power from batt and ground, of course cleaned the bolts which give ground.
It seems that light is gone.
Trying to find a seller who ship to germany... the complete set seems not to be available anymore. I would like to have an additional set on the shelf. Unfortunately if LED is gone than its dead, there isnt the possibility to change just a broken bulb.

Parking and turnlights are back in original condition. i am pretty sure it will not be notice in any next upcoming - next check up on roadsafety is 10/2028

@all veterans out there:
How are the blacklights used?
I can turn on blacklights and the four markerlights front and rear are on.
With the second switch i can set on the front single lamp.
what is the sense with it to switch on/off the single front lamp?
Thanks in advance for an info on that.

We had Friday the engineer in our shop which made the value appraisel.
After 2 hours inspection he said finally it is like a new truck but he can't set the notification on 1.0 that means it is complete new. Frame, Body and die Diffs still runs their 130000 Miles. So it will be a notification of 1.x
He really put his nose in any edge :ROFLMAO: but can`t find anything
Well we want preserve the truck for more than another generation. 😇

At the end there are three monetary values which will be declare in that appraisal

1. Market value
2. Replacement value (means a similar truck condition but maybe not the same equipment like engine/drivetrain/suspensionmodifications)
3. Worth restoring value (the money you need to rebuild exact the same truck again)

For us is only 3. Worth restoring value important as this is the value where the truck will be insuranced.
You can only insurance an oldtimer with this value if you done a complete full frame off rebuild with new parts like we done.
It will take a while until we got the papers.

Man, deuch laws are weird indeed.
Here you long time ago would get 12 year certification as oldtimer, black plates and 4 year MOT. Some 75eur for taxes.
The first costs for roadregistration with Technical test and oldtimer certification was a single issue. Oldtimercertification is now valid until the truck dont pass anymore a technical test every 2 years.
To have a value for insurance was the appraisal necessary. It gone so much money and work in the truck that i dont want in an accident, theft or other hazarddamage be paid by marketvalue.

Anyone who lives in Germany can entertain you for hours about the German madness, when trying to get ANYTHING done to ANYTHING with wheels in the German system. Truly a sad situation.
Not only anything with wheels.
Similar rules for building constructions, civil engineering, roadconstruction, environmental protection, just to list a few...
You are not allow to do what you want on your own land.

And there is always a "nice person" around who tell the officers what they think is wrong.

After only finding 3 vendors: 2 doesnt ship international and the 3 doesnt answer after getting my shipping adress...
joined i MyUS.com - this is an export service where i purchase and pay myself the vendor which deliver to my PO Box by MyUS.
Than they sent it to me on my preffered services.
So with this i have now a shipping adress in Florida :ROFLMAO: Not my preferred area, but I don't live there anyway.
I am still looking for vendors which ship international but its also good to have a choice for national vendors.

Finally i bought 3 front marker lights NOS, they arrived yesterday.
2 works and the 3 also nonfunctional.
So we open it to check how it is build up

IMG-20260305-WA0004.jpg

very simple - should be fixable.
