Stuck parking brake handle

Ever since I got my SEE I have used all the strength possible to pull this handle. I checked underneath and the mechanism works, the clam shell that holds the cable I fixed and got to close. But the handle is stuck like the Excalibur. What can I try. Sprayed penetrant over and over and let it sit and still won’t budge.

sorry if I maybe am a "little rude" but when you said stuck I for some reason immediately thought of a very silly movie when I mused 'I sure hope you didn't pull hard enough to literally rip the poor handle out on that unimog?' aka look at what this goofy man did not once but twice:
(first pulled out at 0:48 then uhh geeze thats a chunky one he pulled up at 1:18..!)

I noticed that your handle is rotated 90 degrees from the orientation of the handle on my FLU419 when the parking brake is set. According to TM 5-2420-224-10, you need to rotate the handle to release the parking brake. This is the way mine works, but yours is already rotated in your photo.

g. Parking Brake Lever.
Parking Brake Lever (2). Manually activates parking brake cable to apply brakes for parking. Brake light on instrument
panel is lit when brake is applied. Pull back on lever to set brake; turn lever to the right and push forward to release
brake.

I’ve tried that, feels like I’m going to bend it. Might try some light heat on the shaft to loosen up some possible rust then turn it.
