I needed another shelter like another hole in my head, I have 4, 3 S788s and a maint. shelter, so this maint. shelter pops up and is in better shape than the one I bought a couple months ago,it did not get a bid the first time so they re-listed it with a much lower starting bid, so I put a low ball bid in.
Then this S805/G shelter pops up and it has a Harris RF382 tuner clearly visible, it went off first so I won that bid, then I was kinda hoping someone would out bid me on the maint. shelter but no, I got it too.
I felt pretty damn good about the S805/G shelter considering I have seen just bare RF-382s sell for more than I paid for the shelter, until I got a good look at it when loading it, now I am feeling even better as it has a 3 cyl turbo diesel generator with a Kubota D722 engine, and they were nice enough to leave the "ship/shore" panel in place and they even left me the gen control panel with a clock showing 55hrs!
This shelter is a little shorter than the S788, it ends at the back of the truck, but I think I have found my mobile shack/camper!
Before I realized it had an APU I was wondering what those air lines dangling down with quick disconnects were for, but they turned out to be fuel lines
I have not found any ID or data tags on the gen (other than the D722 casting in the block) so I do not know what it is rated for, the factory specs for a D722 is 15KW, so I would assume it would be pushing a 10K or so gen head, heck I may have to stuff a couple of my Harris RF110A amps in there.

It even has the ladder(s) never got them before in a shelter
