I was sandbagged for it, but it never came.
We had just over two days of showers here that were steady, but not pouring.
My garage will flood if I get an inch on top of already saturated ground, and while it was certainly saturated what followed was spread out enough the it never even pooled in the backyard. Friday was supposed to be more but it just never materialized here. Got right at 3.5 inches at the house (when they were forecasting over over 10").
Bad news, though. My college lesbians moved out. It was time. They were here three years with two people living in a tiny efficiency garage apartment. They got a real place now that one is fixing to graduate. Fond memories. Every guy my age should be able to tell people he lives with two college-age lesbians...
Working on the apartments over the next two weeks. Paint in and out, a few external wall boards that have some rot starting from a/c condensation splashing up from the ground, new plumbing fixtures, new carpet (the old stuff all got munched). ;p
Then hopefully back on the truck as long as my back and neck hold out...

Yeah, they had an "anti-ICE' rally last weekend.
The local media had to film it from several clever angles to not give away the fact that it was only six people.
I wouldn't waste the air in the airhorn to drive by and LOL at them....

I scratch my head every day here lately if we were to sneak into any other country illegally then create riots because were getting caught they would hang us !

I have a theory.
If they are protesting, they are not sleeper cell terrorists. Those guys would want to lay low and not attract attention.
So if they are protesting, they are not the bigger threat.
