Yep, fully agree it's capped off just wondering if there was something that might have been attached to it or hooked up.

That looks a little like what I used on my my M135's to put an air chuck on. Only it's on the driver side on mine.

I don't think I have one there. There's a cab heater in the way instead 
In fact, I don't think I have an air hookup in the cab at all. I never saw one anytime I've been under the dash of my A3.

It is a standard feature on these trucks. In stock form, quite useless, but with a quick connect, it can be helpful - yes, even for air mattresses! It is a convenient hookup point for compressed air. The Deuce air compressor is not exactly a powerhouse; something like 7 gpm, but ok for filling tires or pool toys!

The Gasser manual says it is for filling the tires. using a glad hand at the rear is soooo much more convenient in my opinion.
