Longer all thread with two nuts lock washered together above the cross member on both sides and reuse the special nut for the release side and two more nuts lock washered together on the other side will work really well.

The bare minimum is listed in Appendix B of TM9-2320-289-10. The UOC (Usable On Code) for an M1008 is 194 or 208. Appendix C lists all the additionally authorized items. supposedly all items fit in the tool bag that went behind the seat, or under it.

I have battery disconnects on both batteries on my M1031. One disconnects between front battery + and rear battery - . The other disconnects the front battery negative to chassis ground. Radio capacitor
