Looks great! It’s crazy how you can buy the whole truck somehow cheap at auctions, but dare to buy a genuine part for it and you’d think it wasn’t the lowest bidder that won the government contract. Almost thinking about buying another truck for parts only lol!

Thanks! Will do. Did the same! Got ride of the plexiglass rear windows and replaced them with 2 36”x15” Ama$on sliding windows as well! Had to modified the rear curtain for them to fit, but they did fit well. Keeping them in the box until after paint.

Too cold / too much snow for major fabrication updates but truck passed inspections and is now road legal. Rear curtain done / roof redesigned for front and rear panel removal during good weather.

Rails are gone, will keep it like that for now, simple and looks better I think.

Roof fully welded and almost done. Moving on to the doors. Not really a fan of the RV windows so will have to think outside the box.

Started the reverse light switch install. Was pleasantly surprised to see that the shifter bolt holes already had rivnuts installed. Was that a common practice?
