So a few year back I bought three HAWK missile carriers, you know, one of those stupid decisions we make
. I sold two of them to the same person, one repairable, one as parts. I kept some of the parts off of the parts machine as spares for the third. So, I basically disassembled the third with intent to get it sandblasted, but that's where it stopped. Now it is all stored away in a shipping container. Two engines, multiple spare parts, extra track sections, etc.
My question, I prefer to get rid of it whole and not fool with parting it out and possibly having an 'incomplete' unit, but how 'common' are these things in the collector world? I am assuming not very common since I can't find much info on them. Does anyone here know of someone that may be restoring one and looking for parts? I essentially have two of everything except for the V-drive and transmission.
