    MEP-802a TM 9-6115-641-24 needed

I'm unwilling to tear it open, sorry. I've been bitten multiple times opening things "to get a good look and some better pics" and then ending up with no longer "new in wrap" items as a result. The manual i have came out of the door pocket of an LEAD reset genset. I won't swear to it, but i...

    KS antique vehicle policy change

Me personally, i'd risk the fine for hauling the occasional trip to the dump or whatever.

    KS antique vehicle policy change

"The way I'm reading it, my truck (M51A2) is still eligible for antique plates, so long as it's not used to haul anything." That's my read as well. As I read it, you cannot legally use it to haul anything, at any time, for any reason. 98G

LMTV Tires + Flipping Hubs in My Deuce - Is it needed?

I was unaware those adapters existed. That makes my MRAP comment irrelevant. And with the differences in offset, I don't know if flipping the hubs is needed. I'll watch this thread and learn right along with you. Welcome to the hobby by the way.

LMTV Tires + Flipping Hubs in My Deuce - Is it needed?

I don't believe LMTV rims will work, even with adapters. MRAP rims with adapters work, and need the hubs flipped for best results and cosmetics. Got a link to your adapters? And a pic of your wheels?

    M931 W/W Hydraulic tank relocation

The dump trucks place the hydraulic tank above the rails, behind the cab, centered.

Seat belts in the troop area?

California is going to want you licensed commercially for that.

14 years from last post to yours. This might be a record.

What would it take to mount this to an M998 ?

At this point I'm contemplating building a standalone cage type thing that would mount the ring and be able to be lifted in and out of the M998 bed by crane. Set the height to where that the gun could be depressed far enough to leave very little dead space close to the vehicle. 2x2 square...

Colorado bill to fix title issues.

"weighs less than 16,000 pounds empty weight" This is a ban on M939series, M809series, LMTVs and anything heavier. I am not at all sure i'd call this fixing title issues. Not unless the HMMWV is the only thing you're concerned with.

    Towing 30,000

939series 5ton. Either a cut down M923 or an altered M931. NH250 and Allison 5speed automatic. In stock form, it's easily up to it, so long as you're ok with slow. In altered form, it really depends on just what was altered and how. I've done this, from Freeport IL to Mountainair NM-

    Towing 30,000

A what? A 5ton? Or a deuce (2.5ton)? An altered bobbed truck has no specifications once the suspension was tampered with and an axle lopped off. Without knowing exacrly what was done, any answer is just speculation.
