    HMMWV Blue Force Tracker Setup

I am curious, how much does it cost (about) to put together a working system?

Shop Set Contact Maintenance Truck (Heavy) (CMTH)

Well someone missed the 4 brand new Victor regulators, there is a little box with a lid that had 2, O2 regulators, 1 EA acetylene and shield gas with a flow indicator. It looks like I will be able to get my miller roughneck welder, the gas powered compressor, of course a torch and think I will...

    Quick disconnect to fan

It does not appear you have the flair fitting on your hose that is shown in the replacement kit, otherwise you could remove the coupler, if you get the kit you can just use the hose and the flair fitting that is in the female coupler and that will work. I just put V belts on a 07 R1 that had the...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I went and picked up my latest acquisition today, a maint. shelter, sat in front of the gate until 8 am and became suspicious when no body showed up, not even any customers, called the guy and yes they had moved, I had arrived before light and where I parked a large building blocked the view of...

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

We hit the high 70s today and it was an awesome day, went bottle buttin around on the curvy county roads and clocked over 100 mi just cruising, instead of working like I should have been but I have been sick and that was a good enough excuse for me. I did stop off and preview the monthly auction...

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

I use those on lots of stuff around here, mostly on tractors that were made before OSHA set standards, I have one tractor that has 25" between steps

FAV #0014 Has Emerged! Chassis 1592

DOT 3 will be fine, DOT 5 can be used in any application that is new or rebuilt (it does not mix well with DOT 3) except systems with anti lock brakes. DOT 5 is hydrophobic, meaning it does not absorb water, which helps prevent corrosion in brake systems, especially those with aluminum components.

    Tires?

I would not think "most" trucks would not have the dia. needed, yes they are 11:00-18s I have never had one off the rim, would be interesting to see how they do tubeless with locking rings. I would however expect there to be more choices than we have in 16.5" on the Humvees

    Tires?

I have Gama Goat wheels adapted to a 404 Unimog and was wondering what are the tire choices that are available now that fit on that rim?

Shop Set Contact Maintenance Truck (Heavy) (CMTH)

There sure doesn't seem to be much information out there on these, I picked up a CMTH today that I will be using on a beater M1097A1 as a farm maint. vehicle, it was pretty stripped only having the inverter, what ever is above it and a few drawers, I have a gas powered compressor, a gas powered...

    Restoration of FAV #0010

I will resume the search when the weather and my health improve, I have the horrible flue that is going around, it seems to last forever.

M1097 fuel filter sensor 4 pin

I am curious why? it is a pressure sensor that is only used with the Diag equipment that nobody uses, it serves no useful purpose. It is only connected to the Diag port near the shifter, some folks jerk it out and put a pressure gauge there.

    6L80 in my M998

You can rotate the TPS on the IP to get it to shift earlier or later to an exent, IIRC the controller I was using had software calibration for that.

    Power Steering Pump Options?

The steering system is a open hydraulic system, there is little pressure until a device, brakes, steering, Cadillac valve etc. calls for it, so unless you do something stupid like pound all 200 lbs on the brake pedal or hold the steering at lock which you should not do on any vehicle, the actual...
